saying "i love you"

Question Posted Sunday January 28 2007, 3:48 pm

i have an amazing boyfriend. okay, but i don't like saying "i love you" to someone RIGHT AWAY (we've only been going out for 4 days). this is because my LAST boyfriend was a complete asshole who used me & would ALWAYS tell me he loved me(he was lying) only to get "some" from me. i really, really like my new boyfriend, but the thing is..i guess i'm SCARED to say "i love you". he hasn't said that to me, like when we talk or anything, but once online, he 'im-ed me saying "love you" right before i signed off & i didn't reply.
please help =/ what do i say to him if i'm not ready to say "i love you"?

When he says it next time just tell him something like your sorry but you`re not ready to say that & you really do have strong feelings for him. It`s better you don`t say it if you truely don`t feel that way - & tell him that. It`s good to know he treats you better and cares about you than you`re ex boyfriend did and i`m sure over time you`ll be ready to tell him. :) Hope this helps & good luck. ♥
