Confused about two potential partners

Question Posted Tuesday January 23 2007, 8:16 pm

Ok, this is going to be a long one. How do you summarize a few months of covert thoughts? I can only describe what happened with this one girl like this- I fell in love with her. I feel it's a very, very good match for me.. the only problem being that I could jeopardize our friendship (we developed a surprisingly close friendship). Now there's another potential partner who I think is very attractive, but she's too old for me (I'm 15, she's 18), who I really don't want to hurt, but I don't think it'll work out. However, we have confessed feelings for eachother- I only confessed mine after she confessed hers.. I have problems with showing PDA and trust issues. What steps should I take to (a) minimize damage and (b) end up with someone who works? I haven't typed in HALF of what's needed for this question, but upon prompt I will gladly fill in the blanks. Thank you.

Additional info, added Tuesday January 23 2007, 8:49 pm:
Choice A has got everything Choice B (18) lacks. A can be a bit dramatic, but she's very similar to me and we can empathize a lot. However, she could have whoever she wanted- she's terribly charismatic and there are probably 3 or 4 people pursuing her. We share a lot of personal problems, and I've liked her since I met her, but I haven't told her. After about a month of seeing eachother and not talking, she finally approached me and we became good friends. I can only say that she thinks I'm cute, because I don't know anything beyond that. I would choose her over Choice B, but I want to give B a try because she seems enthusiastic. But A would work out so well... the only reason she wouldn't would be that she chose someone else. I love B because she's endearing, but I am truly, madly, and deeply in love with A..

i think, first of all, you should talk to a. drop hints&stuff, and if she doesn`t get it, just tell her straight up, most girls like that better. as for choice b, i don`t see what good can come of that. first of all, she`s much older and at that age where she might ask for some things you don`t want to give. second of all, legally, it`s illegal and she can be put in jail for that and will be tried as an adult. third of all, if she`s a senior, she`s going to college next year, and if she`s already in college, well, that`s not any better. besides, you say you really like choice a, so you should really pursue her because you never know what could happen. i guess you could try choice b, but like i said, i don`t see what good can come of it.
