i have a cellphone form virgin mobile its not a camara tho.
can i send pictures from my computer to my virgin mobile cellphone?
or can i only do that with a camera phone?
if i can do it, how?

You can send media (pictures, audio, etc), but only if your service provider offers phone e-mail addresses. For example. I have T-mobile, and if I want to send something via Yahoo (e-mail), I would have to type in MYNUMBER@tmomail.net.

You'll need to ask your SP if they offer e-mail addresses to use. If you know your address, you can use that.
