belly piercing
so im on vacation at the beach yay! since weve been here i finally convinced my parents to let me get my belly button pierced, so i got it earlier today. its been good and all but i was wonderin.. will anything bad happen if i get in the ocean or pool? ill still clean it when i get out but will it hurt or get irritated or anything? what about puttin on sunscreen and stuff? lol i so didnt think about this earlier! thx guys <333

Do not go swimming.
And try not to get sunscreen around the area-try wearing a loose tshirt so the piercing can breathe without getting burned. Saltwater or chlorine will get it infected, which will hurt a heck of a lot. You should steer clear of chemical- or salt-infested water for at least five days, if not a whole week.

Do not go swimming. The peircer should have told you that you cant go swimming for like a week, i mean its not mandatory but it'll get infected that way. but if you do clean it majorly after you get out because chlorine gets down inside hte peircing and its hard to get out. also dont play with it that just irritates it. If you do get i nthe ocean or pool clean the peircing like 3 times after you get out to be safe. you should of waited till the end of your vacation. hope i helped

I know for a fact that after you get your ears piereced, you should wait atleast a week to go swimming anywhere. I'd apply the same rule to any piercing. Call up the place where you got it done, and ask them to be sure! Because it may be longer.
