also get a shot glass and fill it with luck warm water and add in sea salt intill it dissolves and then put the shot glass over ur bellybutton and hold it there for about 3 minutes

As for the cleaning procedures, I can't answer that because I have never had my belly button pierced. It seems to be different cleaning for different piercings.
And yah, it's going to hurt for a while. You just poked a hole through your skin and filled it with a foreign object. It will get better, I promise. Nipple piercings hurt worse, trust me. [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]

When I got my pierced, they told me to use DOVE soap to wash the ring with and while I was in the shower I'de smear the soap all around my belly button and on the ring and have warm water running and then as i smeared the soap, i would rotate the ring but i wouldnt do it if it hurts because mine never hurted..i really would try using dove soap instead of wipes..all my friends have used it and had great experiences with it..its very moisturizing and good for your skin. I hope I helped :) [ MYLOVExx's advice column | Ask MYLOVExx A Question ]
