i LOVE New York :]

well the hotels tend to be more expensive there. so best western or marriot or hilton or places like that are fine. Hilton might be more expensive but yeah . you can go here to see ratings for each hotel and comment from people who stayed there [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
i used that site when i went to europe this summer and it really worked :]

theres a bunch of stuff to do!

- go watch broadways. i mean nyc=broadway

-shop shop shop! theres so many stores up there like bloomington and ralph lauren.

-eat good food. theres so many different kinds of restaurants too!

-go to statue of liberty [i couldnt go when i went cause it was raining hard]

-empire state building

-there might be something to see if u go where the twin towers collapsed.

go to tripadvisor.com and youll find more :]

THINGS TO DO IN NYC:

I have seen a bunch of broadway shows & I suggest seeing Hairspray...it's so amazing!

I also suggest going to Little Italy to eat lunch or dinner...there are some really good Italian restaurants there!

Go to Time Square in the night, just to experience it, it is so amazing! Oh & you can go to Dylan's Candy Bar, which is a candy store owned by Ralph Lauren's daughter & it's a chocolate/candy lover's heaven)! [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)

Go watch the skaters at The Ice Rink at Rockefeller Center (or go skating there yourself)!

Go to Chinatown & find designer knockoffs (you have to keep an eye out for someone selling them though, they hide them in backrooms, etc.)!

Go to SOHO, look at the art, and go SHOPPING!

Go to a museum or two...I know it sounds boring but it isn't & it's deffinetley part of the NYC experience.

Go to the top of the Empire State Building!!

Go on a boat ride to see the Statue of Liberty!

Go to Ellis Island, where all of the immagrants use to come from! It is so amazing & you can probably find a family memeber's name on the wall outside!

Go to South Street Seaport...great shopping & eating!

See the Radio City Rockettes!

HAVE THE BEST VACATION EVER!

I went to new york for the first time this summer and it BLEW me away its so amazing. Sorry i dont know any hotels i stayed with my freind who lives there. But i DEFFINATLY reccomed going to the palisades mall its not to far from the city if thats were your staying, but its deffinatly i whole day trip because its the second biggest mall in the world. It has amazing shopping.[over 500 stores im pretty sure] Pluse a lot of the stores are cheap. China town is amazing and so much fun. All the little shops with fake designer bags and things. Then at night it get all lit up and its really pretty. In the city there are many things to do. You will find so many different thing just walking around it. Dont worry there are LOT of places to see plays and they are always showing. Sorry i dont know lots of spacifics because i have only been there once, but its garunteed you will have fun no matter what your doing. :)
