I have medium-ish length dark brown hair. i always envy other girls hair. i like the short choppy looks but i got that once, and my hair wouldnt stay straight the whole day..so it looked stupid. i also like girls w/ long flowy hair, but idk if it would look good on me. i have kind of a narrow face.. well..more narrow then round. but if yall could send me pics of hairstyles that might look good on me, it would be very appreciated. maybe hairstyles that emphasize my face more.
also, any good products for volume and reduction of split ends?
i take a shower, blow dry my hair, and straighten it. im afraid that once i put products in after i take a shower that theyre not effective by the time i straighten my hair
thanks a lot!

Also, this stuff called neutragena (spelled wrong) hair replenishing mask. and you just take a shower, wash your hair and all that jazz, then you put that in your hair while wet, then you wash it out after 3-5 minutes. and then you can dry your hair and stuff. and then you can straighten it and then your hair will be really smoothe and will try to go how you want it. It works, i love it.! hope i helped!
sweetsummers_ answered Friday January 19 2007, 5:17 pm: try getting biosilk its makes your hair so soft and helps the damage. only put a dime-sized amount on and DO NOT put it on your root or it will make it look greasy. try putting it on before straightening because then the heat from your straightener burns the product not you hair.
i would say keep it or get a better striaghtener then the one you have because if your hair kept getting wavy, then your straightener isnt all that good. i have one- its really good called wet 2 straight.
try maybe putting your hair up in a pony tail (i know but you look athletic) or half up or crunch it, curl it ect. you can find some ideas on www.seventeen.com
hope i helped [ sweetsummers_'s advice column | Ask sweetsummers_ A Question ]
