I like my friend and he likes my best friend

I really really like my good friend and my best friend was over yesterday and we called him and I was talking to(my best friend likes him and doesn't know I do)he told me liked her (we're in the 4th grade) and since kindergarden.I really like him and I can't stop.What should I do?

it would be easy for me to answer but there is two people who like him (you and your friend)
and that makes it really hard to help you with out hurting anyone like your best friend.
ask her if she really really likes him and ask her if it would be ok with her if you could ask him out without hurting her.
The main thing is not to lose this friendship or to make her mad or upset with you.
this id a delicate situation, be cautious of what you say
