I read that you should never IM a guy first if you like him. Is that true? Is it bad if you do? Cause I want to talk to the guy I like so I do IM him first if I see he is on. Is it bad if I do that?

No, absolutely not. Go ahead, and IM him first. There's nothing wrong with that, but I also do not think there is anything wrong with letting him IM you first, occasionally either.

no! go for it. sometimes chances are he is afraid to IM you! just dont IM him like the second he gets on. or he might get annoyed. just IM him say Hi see if he talks back. but whatever you do, dont seem desprite!

No thats not bad. Its good, its shows him that your confortable talking to him and your confident. But i would try to not like IM him right when he gets on every time like the second he gets on cause you dont want to seem to obsessed. Plus sometimes i liked to wai a while to see if he would IM me and if not i would IM him.
