solidadvice4teens answered Tuesday January 9 2007, 9:04 pm: The best way to learn how to hit higher notes, figure out your range, and how to sing better, vocal techniques, breathing etc. etc. is to get a voice or vocal coach to teach you and assess where you and give you a game plan for reaching you goals in singing.
You should also approach your school music teacher but to learn how to hit those higher notes you definitely will want the private tutoring oif a voice or vocal teacher who is trained to help people sing better. [ solidadvice4teens's advice column | Ask solidadvice4teens A Question ]
Organized_Chaos answered Tuesday January 9 2007, 9:01 pm: I was taught to sing with my head voice. Which means you don't push out more with your chest and use your chest voice(better for altos), this helped me alot to reach higher notes. I know it's not very detailed but just think about the name and try it out. [ Organized_Chaos's advice column | Ask Organized_Chaos A Question ]
Keosha answered Tuesday January 9 2007, 8:43 pm: In singing I was taught to sing with my stomach. Not to sing with my throat or nose. When you sing with your stomach push out for a deeper note and suck in some for a higher note. Try this! [ Keosha's advice column | Ask Keosha A Question ]
