Technically you did start your period. Next month (or maybe the month after that...your first periods are irregular) you'll probably get more blood. The first one is like a "test period". Make sure you take pads or tampons wherever you go, you'll never know when it'll suprise you.

You probably got or just started your period.
It's usually not heavy at all when you first get it.
But sometimes if you already have it, it could be light because of something you did like any sexual activity or something.

It sounds like you got your period! Congratulations!! Your first period is suppose to be VERRYY lightt..my'n was! So don't worry.. Just warning you your cycle may be off.. so don't worry if you don't get it the same week or even couple weeks!
