my ipod nano is brand new i havent even had it for a week and it is frozen what can i do to reset it?

Go to the Apple store. If they can't fix it, they'll give you a new one.

This happened to me too.
When it happened to me, I couldnt turn off the power, so you just have to wait until the power dies. it shouldnt take more than half a day. after that it should turn back on (after charging of course) like normal.

Press the Menu and center button at the same time, and hold them down for 15-20 seconds. Works every time!
