brothers bestfriend..
So this kid name Tom is always at my house.. but for my brother. their bestfriends. my brother wont let my anywhere near his bestfriends. i never cared until Tom talked to me. after he talked to me i just couldn't stop thinking about him. then i started talking to him on aim. but i dont know now im scard to talk to him. then tonight he was at my house.. waiting to get picked up so i was just about to go outside then, his mom came. but i dont wanna wait for my brother not to be around or talk to him on aim anymore. i wanna hang out with him and stuff. i just dont know what to say to my brother.. or tom. what should i say?

well heres what i think man.. if you talk to tom online obviously theres something there and since he talked to you first it means hes interested.. just tell your brother you'll talk to anyone you want to they aren't only your friends i can have mine too and i think me and tom could be really good friends (dont mention the more then part just quite yet)and then just talk to tom like you normally would if anythings really there it will happen and your brother will just have to deal with it.. hope i helped!

Well I would talk to Tom and get to know him on a friend level and stuff on AIM and while doing so slowly bring it up to your brother. Ask him why he doesn't want you talking to his friends. Then maybe you could say well me and tom talk on AIM and if its ok with you can I at least talk to him in person when he's over here sometime? If he says no then maybe you will have to search for some time alone. Or maybe even ask him to hang with you outside of your house and away from your brother. Just don't let Tom get in the way of you and your brothers relationship. If it starts to you should rethink things. Hope I could help!

Your brother probbably knos something about tom that you dont. This can go either way, good or bad, but you should jus tell your brother that you like tom. he might not approve but hes not your dad. and hes not a real friend to tom, because if tom likes you too, your brother should stand in the way. Or if you and tom jus want to hang out, you should both confront your brother and ask him why he doesnt want this to happen, and see what he says. If he cant give you a real reason then continue your friendship with tom.
