My computer/ ipod is being weirdd!!
Last Christmas i got an iPOD nano.
It worked really great until this year..
My computer got a virus so the company re-started my computer. Now its all fresh again.. but all my programs are gone.. ( meaning itunes) and i got it back on and now the computer won't read my iPOD!!! So here are my questions
- do i need to take it back?
- should i take it to the apple store?
- WHATS WRONG WITH IT!!

There is a posibility that the firmware (what runs the iPod Nano) is out of date for the newest version of iTunes. I do see that apple does have some updates, up to iPod Nano software version 1.2. If you not sure how to do this you should take a look at www.apple.com to see if they have instructions on how to make sure your player gets the new update. Once that is current, your player and computer should be able to talk to each other with no problem. Hope that helps.

maybe the computer doesn't have the USB ports in the right configuration to detect your ipod i thinnk its something about the computer ,,not your ipod
