Question Posted Thursday December 28 2006, 12:01 pm

This is a really random question, but how do you do makeup for a professional photo (color or black and white)?

hey, the key to wearing makeup is to like like have have little to none on. apply a little bit of cover-up/foundation just to make your skin look less oily and also cover any blemishes. dont use a tanner color then you are. using your skin color is the best way to good. apply black mascara to the top and bottom lashes. go easy on the bottom lashes tho. finally, apply black eyeliner. put it on the way you would for everyday use. you want this picture to look as natural as possible. for the lips, use a neutral or light pinkish lipstick. good luck =].

Put your make up on where it looks natural. Pictires come out so much better and shows little effort that you tried to put a mask on. Don't where a lot of eyeliner though.
A little bit of make up goes a long way.

First apply pancake foundation to eliminate oilyness. Next, apply brown, or any other natural looking color for eyeshadow. Then, apply eyeliner. Look in the mirror and if your eyes seem very small, and close together, then only apply eyeliner half way in each eye. If not, then apply normally. Next, apply lots and lots of mascara because on camera it seems as though you have no eyelashes. Then apply a natural lookin blush. Dont over due it. Dont only apply it on your cheeks, but also on your chin and forehead to have an even look. Last, but certainly not least, APPLY LIPSTICK , NOT LIP GLOSS. NO SHINY LIPSTICK!!! NOT TOO RED, NOT TOO BROWN. tada !!!!!!!!! your are now ready for a photoshoot!!!
