Also, when you first get lenses, make sure they coat them with anti-scrating whatever it's called :). It might cost extra (it did for me) but they're worth it. Plastic lenses scratch less than glass ones, I believe. especially when they're coated.
When you wash your glasses, try to rinse them in soap & water first. It'll get rid of dirt and anything else that could scratch the lenses before you rub a cloth/paper towel on them. At the very least, use Windex. Wiping them on your shir tis one of the worst things to do (but everyone does this at some point. Just don't make a habit of it haha)
If the scratches are really bad, however, you may need to completely replace them.
But before you do, try putting a tiny dab of olive oil on the scratches, rubbing it in, then washing with Dawn dish soap. Sounds weird, but it fixed my lenses once. It was actually an accident (spilled the oil whenI was cooking; glasses were on the counter). But it's worth a shot, if youre gonna be replacing the lenses otherwise. Won't hurt anything to try, right?
