ipod video
i just got a new ipod video and i want to download the songs on it that i had on my old ipod but whenever i plug the USB cord in, it says it's unknown. and i took out the USB cord when it said "do not disconnect" and now its like frozen or something?? major help needed.

for being frozen...toggle the hold/on button on the top then hold the menu and center buttonfot 6-10 seconds.
the usbshouldnt be a problem..if in your itunes it shows an ipod icon, then it should work.

even though it says unknown you should be able to click somewhere and name it? when you do that it will let you do what ever you want, just like with your old ipod. try resetting it to unfreeze it. turn hold on, and then off. and then hold down menu and the conter button until the screen goes black. then try the usb cord again, and don't take it out. just let it do its thing and follow the instructions.
