I have a bit of iritation in my vagina area, I've never had sex, I am only 15, so it isn't related to that, I think it is probably just irritation from rubbing up against something. What can I do about this/is it normal? thanks
S_C answered Sunday December 24 2006, 7:00 pm: I'm truly only answering this because it has yet to be answered and I hate when my questions go unanswered. Because I am no doctor and haven't ever experienced what you're experiencing I can not give you the answer you are most likely looking for. What I can say is what I would do in this situation which is hopefully of some sort of help to you. Being a virgin is good because it means that you are able to rule out most STD's (funny how you can still get them without having sex.) That should be a relief. What I would do is just take a shower to get my entire body clean and wait a while to see if the irritation reoccurs. But before I were to take the shower I'd still tell my mom (or whomever is the adult female in your life) and ask if she thinks it's important for you to see a doctor. It may be nothing and it may be something. Your best bet is to see a doctor. If it is something then the quicker you get it checked out, the better. [ S_C's advice column | Ask S_C A Question ]
