I'm chines n I can't seem to find makeup that goes with my complexion and makes me look nice. My mother wears purple eyeshadow and violet lipstick and it really brings out her fetures and everthing but not on me. any suggesions

Well, makeup is hard for everyone. I think your best bet is to go and talk to a professional. At your local mall there should be counters such as MAC or Estee Lauder. I suggest Estee Lauder, they're really good. MAC is good too, but they have really heavy makeup. You can try multiple ones and see. But Estee Lauder will most likely make you up so you can see it and you won't have to pay for them to do it, at MAC, you will. Ask them what are good colors for you. If you want to bring out your eyes or smooth out your facial features. Estee Lauder workers tend to be very nice and helpful too. So, if your more into softer colors, go for Estee Lauder. If you really like the darker colors or brighter colors, then check out MAC. It's all in personal taste, so you should probably shop around. If theres a Nordstrom nearby, they have a lot of makeup counters or you can try a Sephora(<3) and see what they suggest. They'll ask you questions and things and try to find what works best for you. You might try golds or reds... but its better just to shop around and find what fits best.
