Hey columnists...
I got a DVD from Netflix today, and have been trying to watch it. Unfortunately, it keeps alternately freezing and skipping. I've tried taking it out and cleaning it of with tissues, but so far it hasn't stopped. Is there anything I can do to clean it off, without having to just send it back?

Use it from the center of the cd outward. I am not sure if you should try this on a Netflix DVD but also tooth paste to repair scratches. The information for the DVD is on inside of a clear plastic coating that often gets scratched. By using the paste (not gel) you fill the defects and the disc is temporarily repaired. You may have to do this several times, mostly if you clean the cd the paste may also come off the DVD. But that is a minor inconvience. I hope that this helped.
