How to stop obsessing about what others think of me?

Question Posted Tuesday December 19 2006, 3:21 am

i spend too much time pondering on other people's opinions of me. I not only worry about how my family and friends think of me, but also how complete strangers view me. It's darned time-consuming and debilitating. How can I stop it?

Well you need to accept yourself. Try to believe that others aren't always thinking about you and they don't all see your flaws. only you do. I don't know you but i'm sure you're a great person b/c you're reaching out for help but right now you need to reach into yourself and love yourself. and know that others aren't just looking at your flaws.

:)hope i helped:)

Every worries a little bit about what other people think, so thats normal. Just calm down for minute.

Well, its ok to be a bit worried about how others view you, but you cant obsess over it. Heres the thing: Every one sees you in a different way. One guy could think you totally hot and the next guy think your not the best hes seen. You just have to remember to be who you wanna be. Ok I know I sound like a commercial for Barbie or something but its true. No one, no matter how good they know you, can tell you how to be you.

Just remember this: Be someone who you would be proud to know and want to be friends with. And to me, thats someone who can just forget what other people think.

Hope I helped!
