Well, you have to tell them eventually.
She has to tell hers , and its a mistake everyone makes them , so they are gonna get over it eventually but expect some harsh treatments for a while.
When you tell them, start off with how you made a big mistake, maybe even write it in a letter becuase honestly thats really awkward and embarassing to say to someone face to face.
You have to be willing to give as much support as possible becuase apparently you did it , you gotta make up for it.
Im sure if they see that you know how to makeup for it , that they will be less mad.
But expect a bad reaction and take it completly calm, dont yell back.
Becuase they want a reason to yell at you, so if you yell back , they will yell.
If you just say " OK" or " Alright" or " YES or NO"
Then they will have no reason to get into a huge fight becuase you didnt say anything wrong.
I started doing that and it works.
