Erronius answered Thursday December 14 2006, 6:40 am: Depends on what kind of cement, if its concrete, how much lime or portland cement, etc etc. There are a multitude of different mixes, some have polymers added, depends on what the cement is used for.
Drying and Curing are two different terms fyi. Often you can get cement that dries in 24 hours, but it wont be cured iirc. Like Qikrete, you can touch it lightly at like 12 hours, but not walk on it. At 24 you can walk on it CAREFULLY, it can still scuff and scratch. Curing takes longer I believe, like several days.
