I have blocked it from downloading on my computer because I have read a lot of bad things about ie7.
I rarely use it since I use FireFox, which I recommend highly.
Trying to download the older version will not work.
If you have XP you can restore your computer to an earlier time BEFORE you installed the IE7 update. I had my son try it on his computer and it did work.
So, if you had it installed saturday, reset the date to one BEFORE Saturday.
Here's how you do it. It is very easy.
Go to start.
All Programs
PC help and Tools
System Restore
Click on 'Restore my computer to an earlier time'
Click on "next"
Then pick a date on the calendar that was BEFORE
you installed IE7.
It might take a little while to restore. It has a bar on there that you can watch if you want to. When its done your computer will restart and you should have the old version back. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
