Forensics Team 14/f
Basically I joined the forensics team (poetry competition thing) this year and this is my first time actually getting into the whole forensics scene. I never really tried at all in middle school but I want to this year for the team. Well, I'm going to compete in the impromptu category in the upcoming competition in January along with duo interpretation [i think it's called]
Are there (from experience) any tips for me? Like how should I be creative with an impromptu topic, hand gestures, body language, tone, mood, etc. How do I get into the whole thing so I can get really good scores? What do judges look for in competitiors for those two categories? Just any tips and tricks you guys can give me. Thanks =]

I've been in forensics before. What the judges look for is(if you are working with a partner) facial expression, body contact, gestures, knowing your lines(if you have to memorize them). If you are working by yourself, they look for body language, facial expression, tone of voice, things like that. If you have questions, I suggest talking to the teacher or coach. I'm sure they could give you a lot of tips. I hope i helped you out. ]
