I'm going to a formal dinner and dance this weekend with my boyfriend and his parents.
I'm wearing a black halter dress that comes down to my knees on the left side and my calf on the right... it's really pretty :) I'm wearing purple flats with it.
Thing is, I don't know what to do for hair and makeup!
Here's a picture of me, to make things a little easier.
I have really short brown hair, blue/grey/green eyes, and pale skin. Currently I only own black eyeliner and black mascara (I'm ridiculously low maintenance!)
Blowdry your hair, maybe put a little shine serum in it. Apply a little bit of a rosy blush on your cheeks, not a lot. Line your eyes, apply a little more mascara than you usually do. Apply a sheer lip gloss with a hint of pink and you should be ready to go. You're really pretty- you don't need a lot of makeup. [ xokristabelle's advice column | Ask xokristabelle A Question ]

I looked at my picture and thought to myself, you are so beautiful!!!
For the dinner/dance, you should totally do your makeup the same as in your photo. You look so, completely, gorgeous. I wouldn't change your makeup at all!
For your hair, you might want to brush it. (i can't tell from the pic if you hav a part or a side "swoop" thing goin on) if you have a part, for the special occasion, you might want to switch it up and move it off to one side or the other. If you have a swoop-type thing, you could try having it go to the other side. These are just some ideas that i use myself to look more sophisticated!
