to know which brand to use talk to an eye dotcor. they will be able to tell you which one to use depending on your eye. they also range in price from how long you get them for to wether they are colored as well

The brand really doesn't matter. When you get contacts, the eye doctor will give you trial sets that match your eyes. Basically, you can try the contacts for a week, and if the don't feel right, just go back and get a different brand. The optometrists are usually VERY careful to match you up with contacts that are not only comfortable, but safe for you to wear.

The cost really depends on the type of lenses you get. The cheapest are probably monthly disposables (you toss them after a month) and they can go for up to around $150. If you're astigmatic, you might have to get toric lenses that are more expensive.

Just remember to follow their instructions. Take care of your contacts and your eyes, and you should be fine.

I think they are all pretty good, go to pearlvision, they are really good about it. I get acuve with hydroclear bc you barely feel them. I pay about 120 per box of 6 (two week disposables)
