Shaving

Question Posted Sunday December 3 2006, 8:07 pm

15/F

I've been shaving my pubic area for about a year now. However, whenever I shave I can't seem to get everything to come out smooth. Whatever I try (different shaving creams, sharper/new razor) I can't seem to get everything. Soo, im thinking about waxing? Going somewhere to get it done is pretty much out of the question for me right now.. but is there anything I can get at a store that people have tried that they know is reliable? Any tips besides waxing are welcome! Thanks in advance :]

Well I've been shaving for about 4-5 years and it's really hard to get it all perfectly smooth. I use regular bar soup and I shave in different directions (i.e. down and then up and then to the side). Afterwards, just make sure you use lotion.

I've never used a waxing kit from a store, but i'm sure you could find one if you look.
I had this same problem. This may sound weird, but i used regular bar soap, and it works a lot better than shaving cream does. Also try pressing a little harder (also go SLOW)while you're shaving. It isn't smooth because you aren't getting the hair shaved off all the way. So if you just get closer to your skin while you are shaving i'm sure you'll be fine. It was smooth for me when i tried it. Just be careful not to cut yourself because you are closer to your skin!

This is my best advice sorry it's not about waxing but i have been shaving my pubic hair for a little but longer than you and the best way i have found is to shave only like every two or three days then when you do shave it is very smooth because the hairs dont catch the razor as much
