staying "excited"

so me and my boyfriend were having sex the other day and he were going good and he was "excited" and ready to go and then he just went soft and couldn't get it back up again.

why did he just go soft all of a sudden?

I am sure of one thing. It wasn't anything you did!

He either ejaculated and didn't want you to know it
(a lot of young men have yet to have the control they would like), Or he got distracted by something
or some thought.

If he did ejaculate, it takes time until he would be able to do it again. Not to mention he could have been embarrassed. :)
