Turing off spell check
I'm trying to write a paper in spanish on Microsoft Word, however those little green and red lines are driving me crazy! How do I turn them off?

This is the advice given in microsoft word help:
Turn on or off automatic spelling and grammar checking.
Some of the content in this topic may not be applicable to some languages.
On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Spelling and Grammar tab.
Do one or both of the following:
To turn on or off automatic spelling checking, select or clear the Check Spellng as you type check box.
To turn on or off automatic grammar checking, select or clear the Check Grammar as you type check box.
However, as it does say that it may not be applicable to some languages, I guess the only way to find out if Spanish is one of them is to try it.

go to tools then go to languages and set the language to spanish.
