My girlfriend and I also share 100% honesty, and if I email my friend this message, I will tell my girlfriend... this will more than likely upset her again, because I "contacted her"... but if I don't tell her I emailed her, and she DOES stop contacting me, then she'll wonder why, and end up asking anyway..

So wait... your girlfriend would be angry because you're telling your friend to back off? Send your girlfriend a copy of the message, and that'll clear up any confusion over why you're contacting her, without your girlfriend wondering why she's stopped talking to you so much.
