TinkerbellsHelp answered Thursday November 30 2006, 9:20 pm: Wash your hair. When you get out of the shower brush it and then wrap your hair in a towel (that makes my hair curlier). I use Redken 07 curling gel stuff or this mouse stuff that my sister gave me from this special salon. It works pretty good, I have really long hair so its harder but i'm sure on shorter hair it works even better! [ TinkerbellsHelp's advice column | Ask TinkerbellsHelp A Question ]
x0Abercrombiex0 answered Wednesday November 29 2006, 6:53 pm: you can curl it, or just not straighten it.
i dont know if you blow dry your hair or not, but blow drying makes it look super-pretty and wavy if you do it the right way. so for a change, maybe not have your hair CURLY.. try slightly wavy and straight. [ x0Abercrombiex0's advice column | Ask x0Abercrombiex0 A Question ]

Now, I alternate between straightening it and curling it. The great thing about curly hair is that all it takes is a comb and the right products.
After you shower (I make sure I wash & condition my hair), instead of brushing my hair, I comb it. If you want looser curls, you can brush it, but only once - don't continue. Only comb it once to get the tangles out. I bought a curl spritzer from Sally Beauty Supply that I spray on my hair immediately. I would recommend going to a place like Sally Beauty Supply over your drugstore. They have certified cosmetologists there that can recommend products & it's cheap! I paid like $4.99 for this one. I also recommend using a spray over a gel because gels tend to weigh your hair down at the roots.
So, wash, condition, comb, spray. I'll get the name of the spray I use later and post it for you.
Beyond The Zone The Scruncher is the name of the product I use.
