Imperialistic answered Tuesday November 28 2006, 12:03 am: For something as dramatic as blonde, I highly recommend getting it done from a professional. I’ve tried to dye many brunette heads blonde myself (I’m the official hair-dyer in my group) and have failed miserably. Don’t take the chance of going orange or frying your hair, just get someone else to do it.
As a side note, maybe listen to your friends? I’ve been telling a lot of people these days not to go blonde because brunette is HUGE this fall. I’ve dyed 3 heads brown or black and gone blue-black myself. You should wait till March (summer or spring) to go blonde and then you could get a tan too. Right now you should try a blue-black or red-black but get that done professionally too if you’re going to dye it blonde in the spring because home-dye-kits are very hard to remove, especially extreme dark colors like black.
