Teza answered Tuesday November 28 2006, 3:54 pm: First of all, you're not fat. It's normal is you have a chunky stomach. Some people have chunkier thighs, ars or whatever but it's normal. I know that you're not looking to lose a great amout on weight & that's good because you don't need to. You have to think to yourself and think about how much you want to tone down your stomach. Eating healthy isn't neceserally the whole deal into loosing some weight. You have to get your fats, right amout of calories, proteins and such. Instead of eating fried chicken, eat chicken breast. Steam some veggies and add topings on it to make it tastier. Eating healthy stuff doesn't have to be gross or boring. Add things that you like. Make fruit salads, smoothies, salads or whatever. That's just how to get your meals right. Don't skip meals and if you want to have a cookie, have one or two, but don't pig out on them. Have a peace of cake for a snak but have it once a day. Now, excercising. Make it fun. I always get bored with doing the same old so I do different things. For one, I walk sometimes on my tredmil for about 45 minutes to one hour. I listen to music so I don't get bored. Don't let your sister bug you. You're doing this because you want to be happier about your body, & she doesn't have anything to do with it. Talk to your mom about this though. Let her know why you're wanting to exercise and eat healthy. Don't let her worry about it. Anyways, some other exercises you could do are video ones. I bough a balance ball & it comes with a little DVD. It tones all the parts in your body and it's easy & fun. I also have some other DVD's but just make your workouts more fun so you don't get tired of them. [ Teza's advice column | Ask Teza A Question ]
