The only way to become pregnant is for a male's sperm to come in contact with an egg inside a female. For this to happen, a male has to ejaculate semen into a girl's vagina.

However, it is possible to accidently become pregnant. Any form of sexual contact which results in male ejaculation can result in pregnancy if the semen comes in contact with the vagina. Most semen "dies" when it comes in contact with outside air, however some may survive long enough to make its way inside of a girl. It can even find a way through underwear!

So make sure to always use a condom or protection of some sort when engaging in sexual activity of any kind. The condom contains the semen.

However, remember the only 100% way of not getting pregnant is abstinence!

By having sex...do you mean the process, like the sperm fertilizing the egg and all that?
