As long as your windows and doors are locked at night, which I'm sure your parents do before they go to bed, there is no way anyone is going to harm you. And if your house wins the lottery of the ones that get broken into, as long as you have a security system in place (or a dog, lol) the police will be there before anything bad can happen to anyone or anything. As for scary movies, you need to keep in mind that they are not real. If they really frighten you that much, DON'T WATCH THEM. When you take a shower, it is always good to crack the door open and have someone in the other room for safety reasons, but you shouldn't be bothered by it. I mean, think about it: say your fears come true and a creepy stalker comes into your house to watch you shower and then abudt you. If someone is home, like they should be, how would they get into your house without them noticing and furthermore get into the bathroom or hallway? As long as someone is in your house, not even on your floor, and your window is closed (locked, if first floor), blinds closed, you will be fine.
You obviously have a high stress level. Ask your parents for calming strategies. Try not to worry so much; stay a kid and leave the worrying to the adults. =) [ xoIDOLox's advice column | Ask xoIDOLox A Question ]

The only way to overcome this fear of being alone is to conqure [sp?] it. Let me make a wild guess and say that when you take a shower you think of something popping out and killing you or something, right? Just think of other thoughts.
If you have to stay alone or in the shower or whatever, just imagine about chocolate filled donuts.Haha or just really off topic random silly things. Think about your crush or your friends or that new CD coming out or whatever. Once you relax, you'll feel better about taking a shower by yourself with no one around you. Or distract your mind about all that homework or the boring school and chores and what not.
