my parents are in a huge money crunch. we can barely afford anything we had to cancel the 50$ 2nd phone line. and my mom tries to get me things i like such as abercrombie && hollister but she cant afford it. it hurts me. i dont know what to do because my friends have soo much money.

well, tell her she doesn't have to get you that kind of stuff. but don't tell her you don't like it. that'll break her heart.

and you yourself should try to cut down on expenses.

i understand it's hard to be friends with people who have a lot more money than you, but here's the thing: if they're really your friends, you can tell them about it, and they won't rub it in your face. if they try to help, and you don't want charity, politely decline it.
