Tell your mom that she needs to eat a freaking hamburger or something.

Maybe'll that'll shut her up.

Sorry - I just dislike people like that.

Well, first off - express to your family how you feel about their "fatty" jokes.

As for sticking to your plan? Tell your mom about your desire to lose weight. Maybe she'll help you stay on track.

If she doesn't - I suggest a food journal.

I know, it sounds cheesy. But give it a try.

Write down all the foods you eat for a week (normally, pre-diet) and then eliminate the items that aren't good for you. Replace them with items that ARE good for you. Replace any high sugar/high fat snacks with fruits or vegetables. Cut out all soda pop and drink water.

After you've planned your diet - write EVERYTHING you eat down. Write every excercise you do, the time, date, ect. down as well. Write down your starting weight, and your ending weight with each one. Even if it stays the same.

Not only will this keep you on track with your diet - it'll keep you occupied, so you won't forget about it.

BUT YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE FOOD/EXERCISE JOURNAL WITH YOU EVERYWHERE.
