hair cut

Question Posted Wednesday November 22 2006, 12:19 pm

I want to get my haircut soon but I'm really not sure what I want it to look like.
I have a square shaped face so I need a haircut that will suit me, and I'd also like it if it made my face look less square.
People say I look like Keira Knightley and I'd really like a haircut that made me look more like her. So, I have a square-shaped face, big eyes, average-sized nose and a small mouth.
So if you know a haircut that would suit me would you please describe it to me and it would be really good if you could include a link to a picture of that haircut (from google images or something).
Oh, and please don't say to get a pixie cut, I know keira knightley had one once but I really don't want one.
Thanks, xxx

A layered style will soften your jawline and a side parting will break up the symmetry of the face

So basically get a layered hair cut and ask the stylist if she can part it to one side that will work well for you. Also ask if you can get your bangs to be sweeped to the side if you know what I mean. If you're still uncertain, ask the stylist..I mean this is what they're trained for..right?

Getting really straight edgy hair like the link below is also nice but it would be on your face all the time and you'd probably have to straighten it all the time too. If you can deal with that though, it'll be great.

You could also get shorter hsir that cuts into your face and modifies the shape:

Pairing that with soft side bangs can emphasize your cheekbones:

Sandra Bullock also has a very square shape so copying some of her styles may work too. The following styles make her face appear rounder:

you don't need to get your hair this lenght...but i think the bangs would look good:

i have a squarish face too..and i have side bangs and i just love them.

^that is me =]

so tell your hairdresser that you would like side sweeping bangs and layers. if you want to make your hair look less squarish then don't get your hair cut above your chin.

good luck =]
