Well, lately i have been feeling very very tired, i have slept about 22 hours in one day just with breaks in between,my ears are hurting and they itch very badly and im losing hearing in them,my throat is sore and itchy and im not coughing THAT MUCH but i still am. So, as you can see i feel like crap and i have NO idea what is going on. If anyone could explain this to me it would be great. One of my friends had mentioned that i may have mono, and my mom said i could have low iron...But, i wanted to hear youre honest opinions about it.
Those symptoms are not from 'low iron'. Make an appointment with your doctor ASAP so that you can get some relief. If your mom refuses to let you go to the doctor, then go to the school nurse and explain it to her/him. You need to get this taken care of. [ LadyAnne's advice column | Ask LadyAnne A Question ]

Symptoms of Mono:
-constant fatigue
-fever
-sore throat
-loss of appetite
-swollen lymph nodes (also commonly known as glands, located in your neck, underarms, and groin)
-headaches
-sore muscles
-larger-than-normal liver and spleen
-skin rash
-abdominal pain
Even if you have several of these symptoms, don't try to diagnose yourself. Because these symptoms are so general and can be signs of other illnesses, it's possible to mistake mono for the flu or even strep throat.
I think you should go see a doctor to be on the safe side because it's not a smart idea to ignore whatever it is you may have because it's really affecting you.

now, the ear & throat itch and soreness are alway alergy related when it happens to me.. the sinuses get clogged (causing ear pain & itchiness) and i get a post nasal drip when i sleep (causng sore throat ) and when i wake up i cough a bunch of crap up that dripped down my throat all night. Try some Benydryl. it is cheap, relatively safe and if it cures your problem you can be pretty sure it is allergy related.
and i will say one more time, i am not a doctor and you should probably go see one. if you dont have your health what do you have? [ rick505's advice column | Ask rick505 A Question ]
