AyumiHamasaki answered Tuesday November 21 2006, 6:10 pm: well I wouldn't recommend any like fash wash to get rid of pimples because it really doesn't work and if it does it'll take like 2 months to get rid of 3 pimples and every foundation or powder you use your acne cause the ingredients in your powder or foundation to clog up pores, makes your face greecy, and of cours makes them even redder! So I recommend you get lasser treatment it really works the pain is small and I also recommend you go to a spa to remove any cloged up pores instead of the stuff you buy at drug stores because the cleaner and less cloged up pores you'll skin will look so smooth. LM answered Monday November 20 2006, 9:53 pm: Benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid are common OTC medications used to treat acne. They can be found almost anywhere and are the active ingredients in Proactiv, Neutrogena, Biore, etc.
For dry skin, use a creamy cleanser (or one specifically labeled for dry and possibly combination skin) and don't wash your face too much. Be sure to moisturize afterwards with an oil-free formula- Biore and Neutrogena have several.
Any oil-free foundation and/or concealer is great for covering pimples. I use Maybelline New York Dream Matte Mousse Foundation and I love it. To keep it from clogging your pores, wash it off every night to allow your skin to "breathe" (most people do this anyways). Also, don't overapply makeup to pimples; it'll have the reverse effect of what you wanted- they'll look more prominent.
hope I answered your question!
