How do you know if a guy likes you? How can you tell if he's flirting? If you like him and you think he likes you, should you ask him out or wait for him to make a move? And how do you ask someone out without sounding stupid?

i have this same problem.
1)if he talks to you alot, stares you in the eyes for a few seconds he probably likes you
2)i think you should wait at first, until you are 100% positive you like him. then...if you know he is too shy to ask you out, then you should make the move.

You can't tell exactly if a guy likes you. He might just be a big flirt and flirt with you. Or there might be a guy that barely talks to you but likes you...it all depends on the guy. Every guy flirts differently, some with girls they think are cute, ones they are friendly, or any in general. It he's flirting it doesn't nessecarily means he likes you. If you like him and you think he likes you you should wait until you know for sure if he likes you to ask him. But I would personally wait for him to make a movie. To ask someone out without sounding stupid, ask them to go somewhere like the movies...you definately will not sound stupid. Good luck. =]

I have no clue what the person below me is talking about... but i'll give you my advice
If you're too shy, ask a friend if they will go up to him and ask him if he likes you. Trust me, you can definitally tell if a guy likes you, he'll be sending you mixed signals, look at you all the time, obsessive over you, or is just diffrerent around you. I think you should ask him out! Because right now, you dont know if he likes you or not... sooo what if he doesn't like you? then he'll never ask you out! So YOU make the first move and ask him out.
How to ask a guy out- if you're too shy or embarressed, you can write him a note, or an email, or an IM asking him. Now... DONT do anything that says "I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me?, or I really like you, wanna go out sometime? or Hey, why dont we go on a date together?" Trust me! suuure.. its asking a guy out, but asking for too much. If you say those, it's like asking him to be your boyfriend. You want to start off easy by just asking him what he's doing over the weekend.
Dont include the words- Date, go out, boyfriend, girlfriend etc...
Instead, use something along these lines- I was wondering what you were doing on Friday?,
My friend cancelled a movie at the last minute, do you want to come with me instead?
I'm going to be so bored on Friday, do you want to do something with me then?
Soo, what i'm saying is start off easy and act like he's a friend, then you can begin by saying "I had a really good time on Friday, maybe on Saturday we could go out again?" you know.......... just start off easy, then gradually ask him out in other ways.

HI I think you should ask him out and to tell if he likes you he will smile very wierd like a half smile or he will wink at you or make flirty vibes but you should not count on him liking you because other people will step in the way of you so try to ask him if he wants to go out with you or even if he likes you sometimes it work so I am not promising you that it will work
