If you saw my advice column (which I have just started today), you would see that I am in love with sports. But it goes deeper. I play soccer no less than twice a day, I run track four times a week in Keyspan Park. I play basketball with my friends for fun a couple of times a week. I go outside more often than I should, so I never have enough time to do my homework. I am 5"3 and I weigh 113 lb. I don't even try to be fit and lose weight by going outside. I just go outside because I love to. But when i got weighed in gym class the other day, I became more self-consious than I have ever been before. I don't want to try a diet, because I would never risk my health in any matter. I weigh more than my friends that are taller than me. My daily meal isn't exactly so fatning, either.
Breakfast- Coffee (I wake up at 6:20 every morning for school) and maybe a small piece of chocolate to start the day. I always need something small and sweet in the morning to wake me up.
Lunch-I usually don't eat lunch because I am helping my gym teacher with his other classes, and when I get home I'm never hungry. But on the occasional times I do eat lunch, I'd just have maybe fish or mazzorella sticks with marinara sauce. Since I'm a vegitarian, I eat mostly dairy and fish to stay healthy.
Dinner- My mom usually comes home late, so I never really have a normal dinner with my mom and sister. Instead, we all just eat a few snacks before seven (usually when my mom gets home), and then we maybe all sit down on the dinner table, watching televsion and maybe eating just a few salads, since my mom knows we eat at school.
I don't understand how I can weigh so much if I'm so healthy and fit! I'm not big-boned, but not small-boned, either. Do you have any ideas in which I can lose weight in a healthy manner?

Corielistens answered Saturday November 18 2006, 9:22 am: Hey it's okay but having choclate in the morning aint exactly helping. To become more healthy i would eatduring lunch you get enough excersice but did youknow that you must have at least eight cups of watera day. I'm in the same position my friends are a lot liter than me but there under skinny. I'd try to have some fruit and veggies. again choclate in the morning is not good for you. But maybe streching in the morning will help. Your a veggitarian that's i can't help you with that i'm not one so keep doing excersicing but choclate in the morning not the best eat lunch because it gives you energy for the rest of the day.
