i always heard that a purse party is where someone brings in designer purses and you get a whole bunch of people and you can buy them cheaper for wat they really are

a purse party is usually either :
1) a party in which the hostess has everybody bring in a new purse, or they supply them all, and you can either swap or buy a purse.
2) there are also purse parties where you design simple purses. (fabric paint, etc.)
i personally like the 1st kind better=] sometimes there are like real coach purses(or imataters...)
anyway, they are really fun!!
