Stress does this to me also.
Sometimes I go days without eating.
However, your body could go into survival mode.
Then, when it does get food, it may cling onto the food thinking its the last food it'll receive for a while making you gain excessive weight.
Also, like you said stomach acid can build up.
When I'm stressed my Acid Reflux gets really bad and I'm punished with shooting chest pains for days, infact I was sent home from school because of this recently.
If you absolutley do not feel hungry I would try this. Make sure you are drinking atleast 3 glasses of water a day to keep you hydrated.
Then, try snacking a bit.
Maybe a few grapes here and there.
Then a couple of carrots, keep it healthy though!
After a while, try to work yourself back up
to full meals. No need to jump to huge portions just yet.
Just take it slow.
Eating is vital, so if things get to stressed
snack in small amounts to make sure everything
stays normal in your body. Everyone reacts differently, so theres no sure thing that may or may not happen to you.
