Okay for school i have to find a song that is a good example of being yourself, being real, not needing materialistic things, loving yourself etc. I cant think of any and the ones that are examples, That we cant use!!, are
-"be yourself" audioslave
-"im a survivor" destinys child
-"beautiful day" U2
& they must be appropriate.
Were talking about how they relate to the transcendentalist movement(if that helps haha. if you dont know what that is ignore it)

The Goo Goo Dolls have a few songs that you might be able to use. "What a Scene" is the first one that comes to mind. "Big Machine" has a few references in it too.
