Iv had my period for more then 2 weeks?

Only 12 and a half, and iv had my period for over a year now. and this is the first time iv had my period for over 2 weeks? My mom told me she will bring to the doctor if it dosent stop sooner or later, but i really want to know why it is doing this and how to make it stop! Please help!this doesnt happen to any of my other friends.

It is completely common. A female's cycle doesn't always regulate for up to 2-3 years. And sometimes, some girls experience a longer period time. It will go away eventually. But if this occurs every month then you can consider going to the doctor, but don't worry about it too much, it's natural. :)
