really random..

sometimes when i wake up in the morning it hurts to like open my mouth. i don't know if i like clench my jaw in my sleep or something, or lay too hard on one side but it hurts lol. anyone know what i can do to prevent this? thanksss.

It's possible that you grind your teeth or, like you said, clench your jaw in your sleep. Or you could just sleep the wrong way and pinch a nerve.. but the odds of that happening a lot are pretty slim.

Best idea? Ask your dentist at your next checkup. If it's causing significant pain you should get it checked out right away, but it sounds like nothing to worry about, but asking a dentist or doctor will reassure you. Your jaw can get sore, just like any other joint on your body. So it's probably no big deal :)
