Maybe give some free advice about: School?

Is there a volunteer club at your school? I know at my school we have 2(Interact Club and Natural Helpers). If there is something like that at your school, try joining. If not, volunteer at your local animal shelter or veterans hospital. I know they would really appreciate your help. Or how about the Humane Society? I know that whichever college you choose will be proud and impressed with the volunteer work you will do.
