Camera advice

Question Posted Saturday November 4 2006, 5:58 pm

Over the past few years, I've become increasingly interested in photography. So this year, I decided I'd ask for a camera for Christmas.

The thing is, I know pretty much nothing about cameras.

So if you've got any suggestions about what camera gives the best picture quality, best software, best battery life, etc., I'd appreciate your input.

Also, best buys for the price. Cameras under $160 are my immediate interest right now.

Hi. I am in a photography class and my teacher got us Canons, which work pretty well. She says they are excellent cameras. Why don't you try looking for one of those? I hope my advice helped you out.
